6 Months and Still Growing

Sorry that we do not have an update of pictures. We thought our long run without internet was over...oh but wait it's not. However I decided that we still needed to update on our cute chicka who is officially six months old today.
She is the sweetest thing ever. She now has her first two baby teeth and looks adorable when smiling. It was a pain trying to get them to break the surface but she was a trooper throughout the whole ordeal.
She is a champ when it comes to sitting up. She even knows how to lean to her side to get something while resting on her elbow and then miraculously returns to the sitting position.
She loves paper and anything that makes noise. We put tons of toys in front of her and instead she rolls and stretches to get our books. Too funny!!
Her Uncle Adam is living with us at the moment and she is loving every minute of it. She would sit and stare at him all day long if we let her.
As for Bren, he officially started the first day of classes on his last year of school. We are so excited for him to get done. He is taking three accounting classes, with one of them being the hardest in his major. I don't think he likes it so far but we will continue the journey. He is still working on campus and we take the trek to the school (to the use the internet) to say hi to him and give him a bit of cheer from his baby girl.
As for me .... let's think. Nothing really new. I am still working and trying to take care of my chicka. I am starting to feel more like a mother and a housewife. I am trying to stay up on the laundry and making the house clean but I don't think I am having too much success. My one goal this year is to cook more for Bren. Last year I was too pregnant to worry about cooking so I want to make up for it.
Sorry again for no pictures but I promise they will be soon.

What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas

So not really anything to update. We are still chillin in Utah, wondering when will be the big day that we will grace Rexburg with our presence again. So I thought I would update the blog by telling a little story of our trip to Vegas.
This was the trip that was right after Arizona. I decided to go visit my brother and his cute family. So my sister-in-law and I decided to take pictures of the little girls. The Vincent side only has two cousins so we thought it would be an easy task. Yeah, not so much.
We first needed to get matching outfits. We went to every store possible. I think we bought an outfit at every store. We did this because we thought maybe one of the outfits would match what we already had. Yeah, not so much.
We ended up going to Babies R Us, and it was the right place. We found cute outfits. Then we needed a head band for the Chicka. We found dresses with a pink that was an off-pink and hard to match too. We almost had an emotional break down in the aisles of Joann's trying to find a ribbon to match the dress. We were laughing hysterically, probably trying to hide back the tears of frustration.
The next day we had an appointment at JC Penneys. We ended up being late because...well what else can I say, trying to get two little girls ready and out the door by a certain time never happens. We moved our appointment to later and decided to take pictures of our own. We drove to a park and was hoping to find some shade. What were we thinking? It's Vegas, there's no shade. Well ok there was a little.
Now the next dilemma is trying to get two little girls to be happy, focus on pictures, and stay in one place and to look at the camera. So to achieve this my sister-in-law and I would sing the primary song of, "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree," very loud so that each girl would look at us and maybe give us a confused look as opposed to the screaming and crying look. It was an exhausting day, and at the end of it we have vowed that this will not happen every year. So these pictures represent how tired the girls were after the park photoshoot. We also bought them matching pajamas, aren't they cute?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I loved this Halloween. We are in Ogden with Bren's brother and his family. We were able to go around trick or treating with my cute nieces. I wasn't going to dress up but my sister in law thought otherwise. I am so glad she had a costume for me... it was like I was 12 all over.
We aren't so creative with the Chicka. However, we did buy her shirt at Walmart. It is a skeleton that glows in the dark. She looked dang cute. My family had a cute toddler's costume of Princess Leia (is that how you spell it?), anyways so we had to get a picture of the chicka with the wig on. Cutest thing ever!!!
I do also have to say that she officially rolled over today. She has been almost rolling over for about a week, so I am glad she finally did it. I don't know how often it will be repeated but oh well. However, with the excitement almost came the tears. I almost broke down because she is growing up so fast and I do not want to miss any of it. I am sure all you moms out there can sympathize.
For dinner we made our nieces orange pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chips as the face. We loved it... the boys of course had to make fun of us.

Almost Done!!!

So it has not been fun not having internet. Right now I had to drive around the neighborhood to see what house had wireless without a password so I could get on and use it. So this will be a quick update and hopefully my computer doesn't die half way through.
Life here in Arizona has definitely been hard. Not having any furniture has definitely made being organized a challenge. Our clothes are all over the floor... yeah it drives me crazy. But yes we are almost done. We will be back in Idaho, hopefully, the first week of November. We aren't sure where we will be living, but I think Bren and I have decided that wherever it is we want to attend the 75th ward.
Our little Brielle is growing so much. Just last night we were at Target and a woman asked how old Brielle was. I informed her that she is now three months old. The woman looked somewhat shocked and said that her daughter was 4 months old. Her daughter looked like Brielle did when she was born. My daughter is such a chunker. Anyways she turned three months old and is doing great. She hates tummy time, she would rather stand or sit up. She has found her toes and loves grabbing them. She is such a squealer. She has found her high pitch notes and is trying to go for the ultra super sonic note that only dogs can hear.

Sorry we haven't been able to make a post because we are finally into our own place but, we don't have the internet or cable or any furniture. all we have are our clothes, a tv, our Xbox, and an air mattress. The people's basement that we were staying in had a sewer problem so we had to move. maybe in a couple of weeks we'll actually get a good blog up because bren's internship will be over and we will be back in IDAHO!! I never thought that i would be sooooo happy to be going back to IDAHO.

ER

So I have this unhealthy obsession. When I was about 18 I would watch ER every morning with my dad. This was not a wise choice because I had to get my wisdom teeth out a couple months later. So when I went to get them out my mind raced back to all those ER patients that went in for a minor treatment and ended up dying on the surgical table. So I started balling out the doctor's office. My mom probably thought I was extremely over emotional.
However, that's not the worse part. I am back to my daily dose of ER. It is on every morning for two hours. This is still not a wise choice because with these hormones raging I just sit and watch the episode while crying. I know it's pathetic but I just can't seem to stop.

Loving Life

So here we are in Arizona...sweating our little hearts out. I haven't really felt the blast of the heat because I hardly leave the house. However, even when you step outside just to get to the car you sweat enough for the whole day.
Bren is doing great at his internship. He is loving the experience that he is getting and we are hoping to get another internship for the winter. With this internship he is helping the company switch their software that they are currently using. He has gotten frustrated because he has had to redo his project about four times because they have changed their mind on what they want. However the people that he works with are great. One of the guys actually went to BYU so there is some common ground among them.
I am trying to find my homemaking side. I have never been a homebody. I like to be on the go and doing different things. This mother experience is a new one. I am not use to being at home all day and not working so I am trying to adjust my life. It has been hard and a lot of times I have called Bren crying because I didn't think I could do it. I tell you the hormones get worse after the baby comes. Anyways my projects, while I am down here, to keep myself busy are starting the chicka's scrapbook and keeping her journal up to date.
The chicka is doing great. She is hardly fussy. She has found her fists and loves to see how far they go in her mouth. She also has discovered her tongue. She loves to stick it out and slobber all over the place. Her reflux is back. She throws up constantly. Her outfits are soaking my mid-morning. But that doesn't stop her from being dang cute. When we were in California my cousin Diane took some pictures of her and that is what is posted above.
We are just excited to be down here and to be experiencing something new. However we do miss our family and friends. So hello to everyone that we love, we miss you and hope to play soon.
