He is such a cutie. This is him all dressed up for church. He is already looking like he is sooo old. He is almost 4 months and he is growing out of his 12 month clothing. We just had a check up and the doctor said that he is off the charts for his age. He is 26 inches and weighs 21 lbs. He is so big that some times I have to stop holding him because my back and arm hurt so bad.

Chillin in dad's bed.
The girl with her nails newly polished.
The boys in my life!
Welcome to 2011.
The girl is officially potty trained. I tired to start it when I was pregnant, that lasted about a day and I was done. Then it has been on and off again. We would occasionally put her in underwear every day for about an hour. But then I would decide I needed to go to the store so I would put a diaper on her again. Yeah doing it that way we would get no where fast. So on January 1, we just went for it. We saw how many diapers we were going through and we were done. We even took her to Walmart with underwear on. She did go in the middle of the aisle. But since then she is doing awesome. It is a huge blessing because now she is even sleeping in them. She loves that each day she gets to pick out her own undies.
The boy is so handsome. He is 3 months old and weighing in at a solid 20 pounds. He is also wearing 12 month clothing. We are definitely growing our football player. He is finding his smiles and even giggles for us. He is currently working on his first tooth. It is on his upper left. He loves to gurble, especially all over grandpa. The chicka loves her brother. She is quick to help him with his binky and to hold his hand. This morning I looked over and she was trying to keep him warm by laying on him. Yeah we stopped that really quick!
The hubby and I are doing awesome. Just trying to get through one day at a time. We are trying to get our goals in place for this year but they are as scatterbrained as ever. However, I know that each day we are trying to be better than the last. So wish us luck.

It's a ....

That is right everyone in the great wide world of blogging. I am preggo with baby #2. That is why the blogging has been not that great. I have been getting motion sickness like crazy and being on the computer does not help.
We just had the ultrasound today and it was definitely a....BOY! We are so excited, especially Bren. He couldn't wait to call everyone and tell them. We are due in October.
I am almost past sickness. Except now I have allergies, which are always fun. I can feel the baby move but it is very tiny movements. I tried to have Bren feel the baby but he is too impatient to sit there for too long.

Memorial Day

The Chicka and Aunt Laura
Uncle Adam and Baby Nolan
Cecily playing in the water
Aunt Laura had to help the girl in for the first few minutes. She got wet when Uncle Mike turned on the sprinkler right next to her.
The girl was freezing. Probably because the water was freezing. They even added hot water to it but it didn't really help.

The girls had to snuggle to get warm.
Uncle Adam and the girl!

The girls had ice cream. Cecily didn't really know how to eat it so she would try to scoop it out with her fingers. It was too cute!
Uncle Adam was pushing Cecily in the stroller outside. The girl didn't want to be left out so she sat in the baby stroller.

For Memorial Day we went and visited my brother and his family. My other brother and sister came up as well. We had fun. We had bbq and just relaxed the whole day. The girls played in the water but it was so cold that they quickly came inside. Uncle Adam was a great entertainer the whole day. I love when he is around because it kind of gives me a little break and the girl always has fun with him.

California

The girl wouldn't let go of this pink pillow. I could not lay on it because she kept telling me it was her pillow. She also found her hat we left and again wouldn't take it off. Which is ok because at least she will keep it on to protect her little face.

The brothers and the girl riding on a fun bike. The brothers were pedaling and they were definitely huffing and puffing most of the way.

The Chicka eating the famous clam chowder bowls for the first time. She was a pro at dipping the bread.
She also tried popcorn shrimp for the first time. I think she ate this one because she thought it was chicken. I don't think she would ever try real shrimp...but who knows, maybe she will not inherit my dislike for seafood.

I went home in April to help watch the house...and my brothers...while my parents went on a trip. I was really sick during the trip so my brothers got to take care of us. But we did manage to go and do some fun things.
We went to Monterey where we went to the pier and ate at a restaurant right on the water. Of course we requested a table right at the window; however, this was not a good idea because watching the water was making me motion sick. We did get to enjoy the fabulous bread bowls with clam chowder. They were so good. In fact I would say they are better than San Francisco. We got to ride on the fun bike as well. The girl loved the helmet they gave her to wear and cried when we had to return it.
We also ventured out to San Francisco and went Miniature Golfing. It was a fun time to be at home. It was always fun to visit and the girl had fun playing with her Uncles. She also loved the dog. She would run after the dog, yelling his name, until he would stop and play with her!
